Our culture is all about team work committed to a balance in work and life outside of work. We recommend a supportive work environment that is practiced everyday to promote a family-styled work culture. |
| The Backerhaus Creed |
At Backerhaus, we recommend core values as follows:

Respect for each person who comes into contact with the client's business. This includes co-workers, management, customers, and potential customers. Without respect, there is no business.

Acceptance of others. People come from different walks of life. Without acceptance, there is no team work.

Mentoring. No one knows everything; therefore, teaching and learning from each other is paramount. This provides the opportunity for personal and professional growth. |
| What type of Associate should be sought? |
Quite simply, we list the requirements as follows:

A team player who is committed to teamwork and a family-styled work culture. A team effort optimizes the quality of product and service deliverables to customers.

A hard worker who is not afraid of producing the best product or service possible.

A producer with a capability of exceeding the customer expectations.

A learner with an unrelentness desire to learn new skillsets through mentoring and training.

A teacher who is willing to share knowledge and teach others.

A questor of continuous improvement. |
| How to evaluate performance? |
| We do not recommend the traditional, annual performance evaluations. All work should be driven by project management tools where productivity and quality are tracked real-time. Projects are based on roles and assignments of team members; each team member must be able to work well with others and produce a product or service that exceeds customer expectations. During and after each project, we recommend that both associates and management review each other's participation. Through means of teaching and learning from one another, our clients can improve their processes. |
